One of the landmarks of Causeway Bay is Noonday Gun. It is a former naval gun located on Causeway Bay's waterfront, opposite World Trade Centre and Excelsior Hotel Hong Kong, and has a quite interesting history. The original location was in East Point, but due to the land reclamation it has been moved to the current location. The gun is fired daily at noon.
Getting There
How to get to the Noonday Gun. Take the MTR and get to the Causeway Bay MTR station. Get out of the station through Exit D1, turn right and walk 50 meters. Turn left and cross the road, then walk 150 meters to the north until you reach the Gloucester Road. The Gun is right across the road. Turn left and go down to the car park of World Trade Centre. Walk through the tunnel along green pipes.
